Within the Global Customer Operations (GCO) business unit, we are trusted by our customers to deliver fantastic service, technology and innovation that will enable their business to thrive. Every person within the GCO has a responsibility to deliver and keep pushing the boundaries for our customers.

As a Project Manager, you'll own complex client projects ensuring positive project outcomes. The primary responsibilities associated with this position include:

  • Project discussions with clients, vendors, and internally with account, technical, service and delivery teams to help assemble and understand requirements.
  • Providing support for pre-sales within client portfolios for both standard and non-standard catalogue products, defining project approach, duration, success criteria, and effort to deliver based on the technical solution design.
  • Engaging in an early review of client and vendor Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Facilitating project kick-offs as early as possible and preparing and delivering client project plans to ensure accurate expectations are established.
  • Advising clients of critical project milestones and dependencies.
  • Providing and arranging support across regions for global projects.
  • Providing professional end-to-end project management applying VZB Project Methodology.
  • Leading virtual and on-site project, engineering, delivery, and vendor teams to ensure all key milestones are met.
  • Ensuring that project delivery activities, project billing, and project closure is documented and that clean hand-overs to clients and the service team are made.
  • Capturing client business priorities and critical information to agree upon project plans.
  • Ensuring that technical installation and migration activities are scheduled and facilitated.
  • Coordinating, hosting, and attending virtual and on-site meetings.
  • Providing frequent project progress reports highlighting risks, actions, issues, and/or dependencies.
  • Providing project dashboard reports to key internal and client partners.

In this role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You´ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Experience within a service delivery or professional project management environment.
  • Network integration and/or IT services experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Strong incident management skills (i.e., driving timely route cause analysis and resolution).
  • Strong problem management skills (i.e., route cause analysis and business improvement).
  • Project management qualification relevant to Prince2 Practitioner or PMP.
  • Strong client-facing skills.
  • Good communication, interpersonal. and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with virtual teams.
