What you’ll be doing...

You’ll be contributing to the Professional Services (PS) team by scoping, bidding, delivering and executing for PS engagements.

  • Working closely with the sales organization to participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities.
  • Tier-3/SME and as an escalation point for Tier-2 and assist them in complex tasks and Incident escalation calls.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis of complex tasks.
  • Work with Design Engineer, Project Engineer and Project Manager on required tasks.
  • Must understand how proposed architectural changes will impact the customers’ business.
  • Will have responsibility for taking ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Work with enterprise security device vendors to resolve complex incidents.
  • Will be required to use vendor provided tools, log files, Verizon provided tools/scripts.
  • Manage incident escalation calls, review and understanding of documented processes, update process documents, provide peer-to-peer training and interaction with high level Verizon and customer managers
  • Required Change Management participation, CAB Review calls.
  • Create, distribute, analyze and evaluate network management performance reports.
  • Create and present a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) document when requested.
  • Participate in the Capacity Management process and design level changes.
  • Participate in audit and compliance assessments performed internally.

Where you'll be working...

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in working with Security Products.
  • Experience in managing internal andexternal stakeholders.

Even better if you have:

  • Certification/s in Palo Alto, CISCO ASA, F5, Bluecoat.
  • Knowledge & hands on for Palo Alto, CISCO ASA, Fortinet, Juniper firewalls.
  • Knowledge & hands on for F5 load balancer & proxies, etc.
  • Experience with Products like Zscaler, Netskope, Cyclance Protect, Palo Alto Prisma, iboss, SD-WAN etc.
  • Knowledge in Cloud Security products.
  • Understanding of industry trends in all areas of Network Security.
  • Experience working in a 24x7 environment.
  • ITIL Certification.
  • Any Scripting knowledge.
  • Routing/Switching skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and resolve urgent issues.
  • Excellent technical and non-technical presentations, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced with standards and procedures to manage and deliver 24x7 technical operations.
