What you’ll be doing...

This position will report into the Device Management Office.

  • Gather and document functional and technical requirements using standard project management/business analysis methodologies such as team meetings, documents review, workflow analysis, etc.
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
  • Establish project goals and implement action plans for achieving set objective
  • Evaluate the availability of material and human resources required to successfully complete a project and escalate resource issues as needed
  • Manage every aspect of a project, including its planning, communication, risk assessment, and resources.
  • Define and clarify project scope
  • Develop internal and external communication plan
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors and key stakeholders.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project and program team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem area
  • Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication throughout project and program life cycle
  • Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties
  • Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
  • Assist in dispute, negotiation and arbitration as needed among all project team members
  • Delegate and ensure even distribution of tasks to project team members
  • Develop and deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
  • Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
  • Act as an internal quality control check for the project
  • Project Management (Education & Support)
  • Participates in educational programs to update job knowledge
  • Participates in the recruiting and orienting of project personnel
  • Mentors and trains junior PMs as needed
  • Evaluate and report on the progress of a project

Where you'll be working...

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s Degreeor relevantwork experience.
  • PMP and Scrum Certification is a major asset.
  • Industrial Engineering experience preferred.
  • Project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation.
  • Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC
