The Shared Services Secure Network organization of Verizon Business Group (VBG) is a team of solutions architects with deep domain expertise. Our mission is to provide integrated thought leadership to our clients, sales teams and product leaders that result in transformative solutions and products. Our team creates a sustained competitive advantage in the marketplace for VBG by projecting depth, vision and execution unmatched by the competition.
Verizon Business Group is looking for a Principal Architect with deep and demonstrated thought leadership in enterprise networking (focused primarily on IP routing, private networks and cloud communication) for to function as a tier 2 thought and design leader for our entire customer-facing organization. The qualified candidate will be among our highest individual contributor roles and have a special focus on scaling our business, drive excellence in solutions development, grow our network, and maintain a tight collaboration with our cloud and Security Architect team. They will lead opportunity closure on our most important and complex opportunities through strategic engagement with the different segments, cross-functional teams, and industry partners.

Compensation

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.
If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $129,000 and $239,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
