What you’ll be doing...

You will become a subject matter expert using your previous operations experience. You will provide Tier 3 support to operational teams and related to existing customer solutions during Pre / Post Sales and operation. You will be `hands on` with new technologies and engage in developing solutions using Industry Standard technology. Your primary focus will be on solution architectural design with project work that will involve the investigation, design, Proof of Concept and eventual operation of customer solutions.

  • Participating in designing various solutions consisting of operating systems, storage, backup, virtualization, endpoint protection, and database technologies.
  • Analyzing business requirements, identify risks, and collaborate with functional teams and business users to deliver flexible, innovative, and cost-effective solutions while meeting business needs.
  • Delivering complex IT environments aligned with security and compliance standards.
  • Creating and maintaining solution documentation based on project requirements.
  • Coordinating activities and projects within the department from a technical perspective.
  • Continuously improve service availability, security and reliability in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Maintaining and develop operational procedures as part of transferring of the customer solution(s) to operations.
  • Providing operational support, investigate and troubleshoot issues in accordance with ITIL frameworks.
  • Coordinating outage response and associated activities including close communication with impacted customer(s).
  • Monitoring system performance and resource usage as an input to ongoing capacity planning
  • Developing automation strategies and deployment processes.
  • Communicating with customers or their representatives during the pre / post sales process but also during implementation and operation of customer solutions going forward.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You´ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Experience in System/Solution design and implementation.
  • Experience withLinux (e.g. RedHat, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu etc).
  • Experience with the most current version ofWindows.
  • Experience with virtual Hypervisor (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Knowledge of Authentication solutions (e.g. Cisco ISE, Aruba, Forescout).
  • Fluency in English.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.
  • Knowledge of server, blade server hardware or hyper converged infrastructure (DELL VXrail, Cisco Hyperflex preferred)
  • Experience with system resources in hyper converged environments such as SAN/NAS , dynamic system resource allocation and backup solutions.
  • Experience in DNS or DDI products.
  • Experience in Cloud Services (AWS, Microsoft Azure).
  • Experience in backup (Veeam).
  • Experience in scripting (PowerShell, batch, UNIX scripting).
  • Experience in databases (MSSQL, MySQL).
  • Experience in Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Problem-solving skillsin complex production environments.
  • Ability to author quality technical documentation.
  • Ability to effectively lead and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to lead a technical team (as part of complex projects).
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and software, being innovative (thinking outside of the box and questioning the norm).
  • Experience of working in a virtual environment.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knlowledge in training and orcoaching others.
