What you’ll be doing...

The Distinguished Architect/Global Integrated Architect (GIA) will provide overall architectural ownership and solution management across all verticals and solution towers. The role will provide Enterprise Architecture support to opportunities for large global enterprise clients that have a high technical complexity with a total contract value greater than $50M. The GIA is accountable for the end to end solutionsintegrity and for managing the solution through the bid, internal governance, and contracting processes to ensure successful delivery and profitability.

Together with the assigned Global Sales Executive, the GIA provides leadership of the opportunity team and works with key business stakeholders and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the client strategy, processes, and information technology assets. The role of the GIA is to take this knowledge and ensure that the client business requirements and theend to end solutionsare in alignment. The GIA links the business mission, strategy, and processes of an organization to its IT strategy, and documents this using multiple architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of an organization will be delivered by the Verizon solution. The GIA position is responsible for

• Working with senior Client IT executives as a trusted technical advisor/ partner.
• Reviewing and analyze current technology infrastructure and its ability to support strategic corporate objectives
• Identifying and propose specific strategies, initiatives, and remedies necessary to align technology infrastructure with corporate objectives.
• Supporting development of business drivers, business case and high-level program implementation plan.
• TranslatingClient business issues/opportunities into technical solution/business requirements.
• Developing a conceptual solution architecture using a combination of Verizon standard products and selected third party suppliers to produce an end to end Client solution.
• Building and communicate the value proposition of the end to end solution to client executives.
• Managingthe interaction with specific product specialists to identify and collect detailed technical requirements.
• Partnering with the bid management organization to build out detailed RFP responses and contract development.
• Coordinatingefforts across Verizon support/product specialist organizations to ensure overall integrity and consistency of the final proposed solutions.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working at all levels in the Enterprise Market up to board level.
• Experience selling Global.
• Experience ininternational solutions.
• Experience in services to major multinationals companies.
• Experience in achieving results in a complex, internationally distributed organization
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time

Even better if you have:

• Certifications with Cisco and/or Juniper.
• Certified in TOGAF and / or ITIL.
• Skills in technology Leader in cloud computing, enterprise network, IT infrastructure and advanced strategic services.
