Your Role
Our Project Managers are key individuals in the Delivery Operations Department at VLT. This position supports various roles and works closely with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Security, and the Delivery Operations department. Great organizational skills are required to manage the many steps against a plan for successful implementation. At VLT we operate in a fast-paced development environment where everyone rolls up their sleeves to accelerate our products forward for our customers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver transparency to the project portfolio through project planning and resource reporting.
  • Lead project events including: project milestones, plans, cross team planning, and synchronization sessions.
  • Monitor the cross functional team work assignments, ensuring teams are tracking to project completion.
  • Assist the teams in delivering solution-level value by guiding teams and stakeholders across the project.
  • Assist with economic decision-making by facilitating level of effort, cost estimations and financial tracking.
  • Manage project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
  • Ability to create project plan for new projects from the beginning with assigned tasks and stakeholders, track progress against plan raising up risks and issues.
  • Reporting to key internal and external stakeholders including c-level leadership reports.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience within a software or hardware development environment.
  • Experience within an Agile environment using Agile methodology and JIRA project management software.

Even better if you have:

  • Ability to manage and execute competing tasks and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification.
  • Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft, Smartsheet, and Atlassian suite (JIRA & Confluence).
  • Knowledge of SDK and API development.
  • Analytical, planning and organizational skills.
  • Client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
