What you’ll be doing...

As a Senior Manager for Network Services - Center ART in Verizon India to lead the Agile Development team from India in partnership with the teams in the US.
  • Collaborating and influencing various stakeholders in the US and India teams.
  • Providing technical design and architectural leadership and engages across lines of business to ensure technical fit with respect to business needs.
  • Driving comparative analysis among various process/ practices/ products and drive POC to arrive at decisions.
  • Driving SAFe process/framework fine tuning and adoption.
  • Driving devops and Infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Instituting governance based on industry best practices; review current environment to detect technical and operational opportunities and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Providing technical leadership, guidance, and support in the deployment of complex applications in globally distributed computing environments.
  • Leading the identification and analysis of Business Enablers for enhanced Field Technician experience and requirements that drive the future state architecture for Intelligent Dispatch Center Operations.
  • Facilitating the governance and use of enterprise architecture principles, guidance and reference architectures.
  • Collaborating with architects across the enterprise to identify strategic opportunities and in the rationalization of cross segment dependencies.
  • Defining the standards and directional Tech Stack and drive their evolution by introducing emerging technologies after successful proof-of-concepts, working closely with the development teams and providing hands-on support.
  • Engaging with subject matter experts on key domains such as: Network Field Operations, Consumer and Business Product lines for necessary Field andDispatch Center support.

What we’re looking for...

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of Telecom domain, products.
  • Knowledge in the network components, topologies, and devices.
  • Knowledge of Network Engineering / Field Operations domains.
  • Knowledge in emerging technology – AI/ML, Chabot, cloud.
  • Knowledge in SDLC practices and methodologies – SAFe.
  • Knowledge about Technology industry and market trends to determine potential impact on the infrastructure architecture.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degreeorTen or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Ten or more years of work experience in IT and Business Unit driving technology strategy and solutions implementation across portfolios and lines of business
  • Eight or more years of experience effectively leading a team of highly technical architects.
  • Experience in driving discussions and architectural decisions with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in reviewing and recommending tools to improve the delivery process with focus on time delivery with quality.
  • Knowledge in assessing and building the architecture team.
  • Experience working on network products.
  • Knowledge on the products specific to LOBs.
  • Knowledge of the domains and systems within network systems.
