What you’ll be doing...
Verizon is seeking a Principal UX Researcher within the Customer Marketplace Insights (CMI) team to play a critical role in how we support the Verizon Location Technology (VLT) team within the Corporate Strategy/New Business Incubation organization. You’ll be helping create products in the location technology space. You will help drive strategy and product by contributing insights and research outcomes that translate directly into business and product impacts that will help Verizon become a leading, customer-centric technology company.
You will be the subject matter expert and insights owner looking across and deep into location technologies across verticals (e.g. warehousing, manufacturing, etc.) to find the pain points, unmet needs, key players/personas, etc. and distill them into insights that help build new product and business strategies. You will partner closely with peers in CMI, Corporate Strategy, CX Design, Global Technology Solutions (GTS), and others to drive fact-based decisions that innovate customer- and business-facing products and services.
You’re passionate about technology and distill complex trends, concepts, and problems into insights that inform design, development, and business decisions. You seek out diverse data points and new research methodologies/sources to dig deep and build narratives to frame elegant solutions. You champion the customer’s viewpoint in all discussions about the product, visual, and experience design across all platforms, devices, and services.

Compensation

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.
If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $119,000 and $221,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
