At Verizon we create the networks that move the world forward. In Australia, we are hiring for an Enterprise Client Partner to join our Acquisition Sales Team. This team is all about winning new business in the network and security space.

The Opportunity: This role is key to supporting Verizon’s sustained growth in ANZ. In order to accelerate that growth, we have established a separate team focused on winning new business to Verizon. The team targets both enterprise and government accounts. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of a sales plan to win new business. The focus is on acquisition of new customers to maximize revenue growth, minimize cost and create a profitable and sustainable business. You will take responsibility for positioning Verizon as an added value service provider to multinational corporate customers across Australia, primary targets of which are financial service institutions, critical infrastructure operators, general trading companies and manufacturing companies, whilst ensuring that targets are achieved or exceeded.

  • Understanding and evaluating industry, business and customer trends to build strategic plans that drive sales.
  • Developing deep relationships with your customers while getting to know their businesses, markets, and the challenges they face.
  • Crafting creative solutions to help customers realize their goals.
  • Selling services and data center solutions to help our customers connect better and become more efficient.
  • Developing winning outcomes for both us and our customers.
  • Demonstrating value so that customers choose our solution.
  • Growing our business while making customers happy.

Where you’ll be working:

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • A degree of four or more years relevant working experience
  • Six or more years relevant working experience in Enterprise Sales
  • Significant enterprise solution sales experience, sales leadership and demonstrated ability to deliver business growth in a sustainable and profitable way.
  • Experience and knowledge of Technology Solutions packaging - Managed Network/ Security /Cloud services
  • A history of success in winning new business and exceeding targets
  • Proven ability to open doors and build strong relationships across enterprise accounts
  • Demonstrated experience of being effective in a global business with a highly matrixed environment.
  • Strong connections with local and global enterprise and/or state government customers and considered as a trusted business advisor.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience consulting with CXO level executives within the customer base.
  • Good judgment on when to invest in an opportunity and when to walk away.
  • Experience of driving change by working with stakeholders across the business.
  • The ability to qualify for security clearance from the Australian government.
