What you’ll be doing...
We are looking for a marketing lead who will oversee Verizon’s enterprise-wide social advocacy strategy. At Verizon,we define advocacy through three pillars: Influencer, Executive and Employee.In this newly created, highly visible role, you will be responsible for day to day strategy and execution across three business units: CMO, Verizon Consumer Group and Verizon Business Group. This is a cross-functional and collaborative role where you will work with internal and external comms teams as you build our executives presence on social media and will unlock the passion of our global VTeamers on social, supercharging our existing #VTeam employee advocacy program.
You’ll be part of the CoE Social Media team (within the CMO Media & Engagement organization led by the Chief Media Officer) and will be positioned as our influencer thought leader, an in-house subject matter expert on all things advocacy. You will have worked across both consumer and business organizations and have relevant experience in building and growing personal brands for C-Suites (i.e. managing a CEO or business leader social channels).
