What you’ll be doing...

You will be working on the chatbot, Chat Assist initiatives in Verizon wireless and wireline. You will be supporting multiple business critical applications within the services domains for chatbot. This is a growing space with utmost attention. You will be responsible to lead the design & development tasks in ChatBot & Chat Assist Platform and deliver reliable and efficient systems-related solutions. The projects you manage will improve and meet the needs of our customers on Digital, Stores and Assisted Channels. Work closely with the Architecture teams at onshore and responsible for the below.

  • Defining and owning Solution Architecture from definition phase to go-live phase.
  • Monitoring key metrics and system heath and quickly identifying and resolving problems.
  • Defining requirements, design and set-up of new environments to demonstrate proof of concept.
  • Defining reusable components/frameworks, common schemas, standards to be used & tools to be used and help bootstrap the engineering team.
  • Defining and reviewing the Bot strategy for the organization.
  • Defining New End to End Chat Bot Experience also identify opportunities through process centric approaches like Lean Six Sigma along with customer centric approaches like Design Thinking/ Service Design.
  • Working closely with a talented and highly skilled pool of Software development Engineers, you shall be responsible to drive the next level of features, while guiding and mentoring the team.
  • Driving Innovation with the team.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of development experience in Java technology (spring microservices, spring boot.
  • Two or more years of experience on Google Dialog Flow/NLP's.
  • Two or more years of experience on UI libraries like Node, React.js\Angular.js.
  • Two or more years of experience on Design & implementation of large scale enterprise application using micro services based architecture.
  • Experience in Technology change management for an enterprise.
  • One or more years of experience in with DevOps and have thorough knowledge of all the aspects of CI/CD pipeline automation.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience or knowledge on NLP's, AI/ML.
  • Excellent Mentoring skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills for complex and large-scale architecture design.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA, Application Virtualization, AWS Cloud, Jenkins, Confluences.
  • Exposure in automation tools and testing metrics that drive efficiency.
  • Exposure in delivering tools and automation in a Public Cloud and thorough knowledge on security engineering and compliance in public cloud.
  • Exposure in understanding and driving programs from end to end.
  • Knowledge on cognitive technologies like AI/ML with Telecom domain knowledge.
