Verizon is looking for a consultant to help manage the day to day operations for the adfellows program. The adfellows program is a Verizon sponsored fellowship program targeting diverse talent seeking to gain exposure to marketing and advertising careers. This program is entering its sixth year, having produced one hundred thirty seven adfellows who are working across twenty eight partners, including Verizon, and several other brands and agencies.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for diversity & inclusion, strong operations background, strong understanding of the marketing and advertising industry, and great operational and communications skills. You must also be proficient in SmartSheet, Google Suite, Power Point, and Excel.

• Support adfellows programlead in day to day operations
• Perform PMO function for the overall program
• Primary point of contact between adfellows and program stakeholder
• Track expenses and prepare monthly budgets
• Problem solve and escalate where needed to minimize risks and achieve plan goals.
• Monitor and track adfellows progress and performance evaluations
• Handle adfellows communications and interface with the adfellows through their class journey
• Manage the onboarding of adfellows including; all onboarding communications, agendas, logistics and participants for orientation sessions, technology, and equipment needs.
• Manage the payroll agency relationship and process, including contractor setup
• Prepare consolidated program project plans, and workflows to ensure holistic view of program elements and delivery against commitments and timeliness.
• Manage the purchase, execution, and delivery of swag to adfellows and other stakeholders
• Manage additional adhoc operations as needed
• Manage content capture for marketing communications and social media
• Support college recruitment communications program
• Manage the adfellows website, update content, monitor, and report out on website KPIs
• Manage collateral, program paraphernalia and swag
• Provide operations and logistics support for the adfellows pinnacle event ceremony
• Partner with the HR organization to manage day to day HR-related needs and inquiries of the adfellows.
• Manage invoicing process.
• Prepare monthly forecasts and finance reports.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or two or more years of work experience
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Four years of experience in Marketing and Advertising, Program/Project Management, or Diversity & Inclusion.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Ability to establish plans, monitor, and report on program/project status
• Ability to resolve complex problems positively and professionally
• Strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex operational components and keep all stakeholders aligned and operating effectively and efficiently
• Ability to clearly and regularly communicate status, issues, and risks to manager and stakeholders
• Ability to identify, develop, and quantify any required corrective action plans
• Ability to work accurately under time pressures; and ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an environment with frequently changing business needs
• Ability to exercise considerable judgment in developing methods, techniques & evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience handling extremely confidential information appropriately
• Experience with SmartSheet, Google Suite, and MS Office suite
