What you’ll be doing...

We are constantly innovating to bring the latest technologies to our customers and you can be part of this team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining America’s largest and most reliable cellular network. As a Budget Analyst for the implementation team, you will play an integral role in coordinating all aspects of project funding, reconciliation, and close out. You will ensure that complex projects have the proper budget coding and accurate financial reporting.

As part of the Network Engineering team, you’ll be an integral part of the process to allow construction engineers to manage their projects more efficiently. You will support the Implementation Team within Network Engineering, on the Macro New Build Program. This is a fast-paced, dynamic position where you’ll be responsible for:

• Project funding requests, processing POs, and tracking equipment orders.
• Overseeing contractor POs and invoicing.
• Primary ownership of OCNR, RNP(Received-Not-Paid), Match Exceptions, and CIP(Construction-In-Progress) for the team.
• Participate in the budget forecasting process, quarterly outlook view (OV), and commit view (CV).

Where you will be working...

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Three or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience managing projects and process/program management experience.
• Experience with budget tracking, cost estimation, and cost accounting of capital plans.
• PeopleSoft or other financial knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and the ability to perform various functions within the application such as V-Lookup, and Pivot tables
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A degree.
• Ericsson/Nokia, DC plant design, and general construction knowledge.
• Experience in analyzing implications of changes from the original schedule and taking required corrective actions to ensure the project budgetary timelines match the project timelines.
• Financial reporting for Macro New Build program experience.
• Processing purchase orders to vendors for construction services and equipment experience.
• Knowledge of fiber installation and standards.
• Knowledge of 1ERP.
