What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for driving cost analysis and efficiency in the network engineering organization through developing anddelivering reporting. You will pull cost data, analyze, and work with submarkets to provide guidance and to further understand costs.

  • Analyzingthe standards and practices to drive efficiency and cost down on each solution.
  • Focusing on costs associated with deploying new technology.
  • Providinganalysis to individual sub-markets to drive discussions and understanding of unit costs.
  • Identifyingdrivers for high cost sites.
  • Improvingon reporting efficiencies, and how information is delivered to sub-markets and leadership.
  • Collaborating with tools teams to further develop dashboards on information learned through analysis.
  • Providingunit costs to planning thatdrive capital budgeting.
  • Ad-hoc analysis driven by leadership requests.

This position can be located out of any of the US Verizon Hub locations.

Where you'll be working...

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Engineering/Data Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry.
  • Data mining experience.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with Excel, Peoplesoft, and Fuze; better if proficient in Tableau and/or coding languages.
  • Ability to work autonomously and help with issues on a daily basis.
  • Ability in determining priorities for the tasks assigned to them.
  • Commitment to excellence, demonstrating company values and policies, initiating action, accepting responsibility for results, and making quality decisions abilities.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely; listen attentively; integrating large volumes of information from multiple sources.
