What you’ll be doing...

This Senior Manager will be a key leader for VBG Workflow Orchestration and Order Management portfolio in evaluating and designing systems and technologies to solve business challenges related to Order Management, Business Process automation, orchestration, and Case Management.
You will be responsible for driving technology leadership surrounding the system. You will be playing a pivotal role in overseeing organizational and systems planning and driving the execution of strategic goals, as well as ensuring that the tactical solutions and activities are in line with the strategic goals. You will build high-performing relationships with peers from Product, Sales, delivery, and other members of the enterprise. Thought leadership in this area is essential and needs to guide the B2B organization in the selection of the right technologies for the applications.

You will lead a team to enable:

• Business Process automation, orchestration and Case Management for Verizon Business Group
• Leading detailed design and development of unified architecture for Order management and orchestration between wireline and wireless stacks.
• Define and drive architecture, modernization, and consolidation of legacy order management and orchestration systems.
• Lead Current Platform & Infrastructure strategy for overall Current Platform & delivering on efficiencies for Order Management and workflow systems.
• Drive strategic oversight, cross-functional team collaboration, and vendor governance for Order Management, and workflow systems.
• Driving enhancements and tools to Order Management and workflow experience.
• Excellent communication abilities to articulate the vision and translate complex issues into comprehensible ideas and concepts
• Solid knowledge of IT strategic planning, technological trends of B2B systems
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead and motivate the global delivery organization across time zones
• Manage software delivery with both onshore and offshore resource teams and with IT vendors. Improve global team productivity and throughput with DevOps methodologies and agile sprints.
• Handle Budget planning, and administrative and resource management of a portfolio comprising multiple projects and large teams. Accountable for sound financial decisions required to manage significant capital and expense budgets.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
• Six or more years of relevant work experience
• Experience in Business Process automation, orchestration, and Case Management using the PEGA Platform.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Systems, Business Administration or related field
• IT experience in networking, applications, infrastructure, or database architectures
• Knowledge of Workflow management systems
• Leadership of a large, global, complex technology-based organization experience.
• Innovative application of data- and metric-driven performance management to lower cost and drive efficiency experience.
• Experience with software development, software delivery lifecycle, application modernization, DevOps, Service/Infrastructure as Service, and Operations
• Experience in IT Security and compliance, operations, and network services, and application development.
• Experience Cloud andContainer platform Strategies, Design, Architecture, and Migration.
• Experience developing applications and API frameworks to enable large-scale efficiencies
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and adapt to changes.
• Experience leading complex projects by bringing together the right perspectives, identifying roadblocks, and integrating feedback from clients and team members
• Experience performing analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions
• Build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns
• Experience leading and participatingin performance tests to identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands for product launches
• Talent development and management to ensure resources keep continue to increase their skills.
