Verizon is looking for a Security Consultant that will be part of a Verizon Cyber Defense team responsible for integrating and operating a world-wide network of firewalls. In this role, you will be working in a global team that installs, sets up FW and provides supports on the customer’s firewall infrastructure. Your tasks are: be proactive in terms of FW implementation, operational management, change management, monitoring the firewall infrastructure and incident management, as well as installing and operating supporting tools.

• Identify, assess and upgrade customer information technology infrastructure regarding risks and vulnerabilities.
• Configure and install multi-vendor hardware and software security products (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Juniper, Cisco Pix, Cisco IDS, Zscaler, Palo Alto)
• Perform incident management and root cause analysis.
• Stay up to date on new features and technologies.
• Provide proactive support to the client.
• Plan and manage the design, implementation, and integration of systems and processes related to operational management of firewalls.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• Firewall experience with the following vendors: (Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto).
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
• A valid driver's license.
• Fluency in French.
• Fluency in English.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Vendor specific engineering certifications (e.g. CCSA).
• Experience in migration of complex legacy infrastructures to new managed security services platforms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Ability to learn new technologies and methodologies.
• Knowledge of PCI norm
• Analytical and problem solving skills
