These environments include RF shielded rooms, enclosures, faraday boxes, horizontal chambers, and vertical chambers. The engineer will troubleshoot layer 1 issues with all test environments dealing with coax, ethernet, and fiber issues as they arise. Ensure environments are in working order and address issues with problems such as mechanical doors, cable management, power/cooling, etc. The engineer will need to work with Lab stakeholders for new projects, engineering support requests, and trouble tickets. The engineer will develop troubleshooting guides, documentation, and diagrams to be used by lab users.

The Network Maintenance Engineer will provide outage resolution oversight. The engineer will act as the central escalation/support contact for call processing related issues within RF test environments when major outages in the Lab occur. The engineer will collect, identify, and evaluate data relating to system problems that impact application performance and efficiency. The engineer will analyze system failures and develop short, as well as, long-term solutions to address each. The engineer will be responsible for vendor/internal escalations to ensure minimum outage duration. The engineer will work with multiple vendors across numerous platforms to achieve system stability.
