What you’ll be doing...
The Manager for Security & Risk Management in the Corporate Systems Group (CSG) will be responsible for being the technical lead for end to end Application Security for 230+ Applications. The Manager will ensure that systems and information assets are adequately protected and maintain the risk level within the thresholds defined by CISO organization. This position will manage a security governance team driving key security programs partnering with cross-organizational stakeholders, application teams and security mavens. The right candidate will provide executive level support and ensure alignment across the organization including executive awareness of risks and prioritizes. This position will provide day to day guidance and direction to a team of highly skilled Security engineers with expertise in information security. This is a working leadership position, requiring the candidate to both be technically proficient in multiple domains of security as well as demonstrating the ability to partner and collaborate with internal and external teams to mature Verizon’s security posture.
