What you’ll be doing...

In the role of Sr. Mgr-Governance & Process Improvement, you will be responsible for building and leading a team that designs, assesses, implements, and continuously improves compliance across the product business cycle, operations, and technology. This will require building new Compliance Center of Excellence (CCoE) Governance Councils, whereby the compliance objectives for VBG can be stakeholdered, steered and ultimately adopted with the greatest efficacy.

You will lead a team of highly skilled individuals employing industry best practices in critical CCoE functions such as ATO/Audit preparedness (including maintaining and managing internal/mock audits and facilitating training for the organization), reporting, triage management, and RACI/RMF accountability. This team will serve as the first line of CCoE representation with the entire organization to ensure compliance is a cross functional responsibility and the goal to holistically align business processes and risks to industry frameworks. The team will also measure and report on key indicators and process improvement outcomes.

In this role you will have the responsibility of:

  • Creating a unified and structured process with defined accountability and responsibilities for continuous compliance adherence, monitoring, remediation and recommendations. This includes:
    • Implementing a formally-defined oversight, escalation, investigation and resolution process.
    • Implementing a tool to track issues/gaps for resolution and remediation.
    • Driving the North Star CCoE Strategy and business plan with specific goals and objectives for security compliance.
    • Defining metrics/KPIS based on compliance data, business context, and risk scoring to support governance and management, adopt new GRC tools and reporting.
    • Developing an integrated requirements library (IRL) that unifies industry frameworks and controls into a consolidated set of requirements that serves as the single source to support product, deal and operational compliance, as well as assess compliance of technology and respective supply chains.
  • Creating and leading the CCoE Governance Compliance Councils with internal stakeholders (BU - Product/Deal, Ops, Technology) that act as the first line of oversight and escalation for compliance requirements, risks and impacts across process and operations

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and demonstrated success in implementing them in large organizations.
  • Experience stakeholdering with cross-functional team members and creatingpaths of shared success.
  • Willingness to travel (25% or less).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Certifications such as ISACA CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CGEIT.
  • Certifications in governance, program management and cloud technology (CSX-P, CDPSE, or CET, CSSIP, AWS Certification).
  • Certifications such as ISACA CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CGEIT.
