What you’ll be doing...

In the Sr. Mgr-Compliance Relations role, you will be responsible for building and leading a team that evangelizes Compliance Center of Excellence (CCoE) objectives, value propositions and thought leadership to internal stakeholders as well as industry partners, customers, and academia. This includes building training materials around the CCoE Multi-Cloud Hybrid Platform, continuous ATO processes and posture, Governance Council outcomes, self-service portals with an integrated requirements library (IRL) and associated document repository.

You will build an energetic team of culture carriers that represent and communicate the VZ POV, strategy, and roadmap with the goal to gain adoption and change the way we do things. This team will also be responsible for tracking and representing industry trends/insights specific to the cybersecurity for the CCoE to drive changes at all levels of compliance for public sector and VBG customers. This will require partnering with CISO, Legal and Sales to ensure the external position is well received and protects VZ.

This team would also participate on industry panels, contribute on NIST workshops/standards (similar to IETF, MEF, and 3gpp), the NCCoE, and academia to create a pipeline of thought leadership establishing an external posture with the outcome of strengthening VZ position in the marketplace.

Responsibilities will also include:

• Monitoring the regulatory landscape, industry trends, customer inquiries, and regulatory changes vis-a-vis the current compliance posture.
• Executing of CCoE communication strategy with the broader VBG team.
• Deploying of all CCoE communications at all levels including the CCoE Microsite and external facing website.
• Developing and deploying compliance training curriculum include online courses, training certifications, job aids, etc.
• Coordinating and executing compliance R&D by partnering with NCCoE and academia on special projects or thought leadership pieces with Technology and CISO.
• Providing pre/post-sales support for CCoE initiatives, posture and roadmap.
• Working cross functionally with CCoE to ensure reporting (e.g., scorecards, roadmap, release features) and documentation for the platform, product, and governance are published and maintained regularly.

Where you’ll be working:

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of the Public Sector, Cybersecurity Frameworks and its lexicon.
• Knowledge of contemporary CMS tools such as ContentFul, Strapi, Drupal, or Adobe Experience Manager.
• Experience in building, managing and curating web based content, partnering with brand, sales and L&D.
• Ability to market mission statements and value propositions to internal and external partners.
• Willingness to travel (25% or less).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A degree.
• Certifications in risk management, governance and/or program management.
