What you’ll be doing...
This opportunity is for Military personnel who are current participants of the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program or are participants of the Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program Cohort 3-2022.
Making sure that our products are available to our customers-when they want them and where they want them. You’ll be responsible for transformational initiatives for Verizon’s Inventory Planning team. Inventory Planning works to minimize inventory levels, maximize profitability, increase working capital, maintain service levels and provide on-time delivery for a variety of products. The Program Transformation Manager will be responsible for: leading supply chain optimization efforts, developing custom solutions for large complex customers or programs, developing and implementing solutions for new product launches and demand forecasting optimization.
You will have the autonomy to develop strategies and implement processes that will have direct influence on large scale projects in support of Supply Chain optimization. This includes, but is not limited to, influencing and managing peers within and outside of the Supply Chain organization, partnering with functional business owners and IT to gather business requirements, writing the business requirements documentation, serving as the key contact for stakeholders, and identifying and driving the solution to completion. The work you do every day will have a direct impact on our customer experience by making sure we get the right product at the right time into the customer’s hands.
