What you’ll be doing...

The Robotics Business Technology group is expanding its team and we are looking for a highly motivated personality as Senior Software Developer Backend to join our engineering team. You’ll be working in an exciting startup environment within the foundation of a large company. You will have the freedom and autonomy to do your best work, with the support and camaraderie you need to enjoy your job.

As a Senior Software Developer Backend for our fleet management server, you will work collaboratively within incubed ITs engineering team to design, develop, and implement product offerings that manages and optimizes whole fleets of mobile robots to perform tasks alone and collaboratively. You will also work on the AI layer of the robot, controlling its high-level task execution. You will participate in a collaborative agile team environment and build features that not only meet customer requirements, but help incubed IT encourage best practices in an incredibly innovative industry.

• Working with different robotics platforms.
• Development of the fleet management server and AI/logic layers for autonomous, intelligent, and cooperative mobile robots.
• Development of analytic tools and services surrounding the core robotics services.
• Implementation of requirements as a member of an agile team, in cooperation with our customers.
• Creatingtestable, well documented solutions; participatingin peer reviews.
• Participating in agile practices such as standups, estimating, prioritization and retrospectives.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming in Java, Databases and microservice related technologies (Spring Boot, Quarkus, mqtt, jUnit).
• Fluency in English.

Even better if you have:

• Master's Degree.
• Knowledge of Database systems such as relational databases and NoSQL.
• Basic C++ or Python knowledge, as well as experience with Git, Docker and ROS.
• Technical writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills.
• Capability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of various factors.
• Ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
