What you’ll be doing...

Development Sr. Manager will lead and manage a software development team squad in building systems that are optimized for quality, scalability and efficiency. You will work with technical and business experts to define best practices and processes. The role will build a strong development team through a combination of coaching, leading by example, career development, recruiting and process improvement. You will collaborate with PM, senior team members and business stakeholders to gather requirements and drive implementation of projects. You will architect and design complex applications and review the team's work.

  • Defines and leads adoption of best practices and technologies.
  • Creates architecture for complex programming projects.
  • Identifies functional requirements and communicate them to the team.
  • Conducts regular team meetings to review progress and identify potential obstacles.
  • Monitors performance of team members and provide mentoring and training.
  • Reviews programming and environment changes and raise awareness for potential risks.
  • Raises issues and recommends solutions to Sr. Management.
  • Builds internal team consensus.
  • Supports career development of team members.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Three years of programming experience.
  • Knowledge of IT Development software development lifecycle.
  • Substantial experience architecting and coding multi-tier business systems.
  • Knowledge of modern software development methodologies and ability to adapt them.
  • Knowledge of modern programming best practices for OOP, thread concurrency, performance optimization, automation and API design.
  • Experience with Web infrastructure, integrations, web services and REST API.
  • Experience with C#, Java, JavaScript and GIT (or other distributed revision control systems).
  • Strong communications skills, deliver high-performance software solutions and have a passion for automation and code quality.
