What you’ll be doing...

Finance Talent Development, Business Excellence

In this role, you will support the Talent Development strategies to produce a strong pipeline of Finance talent required for Verizon’s continued success. With a firm understanding of both technology and business, you deliver generative programs and solutions central to our competitive advantage that enable the organization to grow and thrive. In addition, you will:

  • Actively manage and collaborate with stakeholders to meet talent development needs across the CFO organization.
  • Own the standardized process for talent development requests, team budgeting/expensing, and the administration of finance professional certifications and continuing professional education (CPE) credits.
  • Document, standardize, and develop systematic methodology for talent development processes.
  • Create and maintain customizable reporting tools and dashboards to manage programs and track progress.
  • Design development communications aligned with the company’s strategic priorities across various mediums.
  • Ideate, create, and deliver organization wide events, primarily promoting the acceleration of Finance digital adoption, leadership, and functional capabilities.
  • Assist with the development of customer-centric solutions for talent and people development.
  • Support additional talent workstreams on special projects as needed.

Where you’ll be working:

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Learning and Development, or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience supporting Human Resources or Talent Development programs.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Advanced project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of adult motivational, behavioral, and learning theories.
  • Stakeholder management at Senior Executive level.
  • Leadership experience.
  • A solutions-focused problem solver, action-oriented, self-driven and able to navigate ambiguity with ease.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to break down complexity with clarity.
  • Working knowledge of finance digital technology (e.g., Visualization, Advanced Analytics, Robotics, Blockchain and/or Cognitive Computing).
  • Skill in Google Sheets, SQL, and Tableau.
  • The ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Quick learner and resourceful leadership/executive coaching certification and consulting experience.
