What you’ll be doing...

  • Providing extensive support on SAP core applications components in S4HANA, HANA DB, BODS & BOBJ with mandatory administration skills in SAP HANA.
  • Optimizing, monitoring configuration, and maintenance of the SAP environments Development, Quality Assurance, and Production systems in line with business requirements.
  • Driving and maintaining HANA databases, High Availability, performing patch and service stack upgrades
  • Ability to meet SLAs and project deadlines as per the incident management and ticketing tools
  • Assisting the team with all operational and organizational tasks/processes independently and autonomously.
  • Contributing with strong technical skills in SAP installations, troubleshooting, upgrades, system copy, SAP performance tuning, applying Patches, backup and restore, and usage of SUM tool.
  • Advocating and enforcing the application of standards, policies, procedures, and best practices in the implementation and/or maintenance of NetWeaver and its various components.
  • Building solutions upon the business needs to present and interact with business process owners in the environment.
  • Providing insights on new SAP technology and how it can be leveraged appropriately to improve the current environment.
  • Designing and implementing an optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience in SAP.
  • Three or more years of experience in SAP HANA 2.0 Database Administration & SAP Basis Administration.
  • Experience on SAP Technologies, products and cross dependencies like integration and communication.
  • Experience working with Application and Technical team to solve day to day operation incidents and requests; able to provide continuous technical improvement activities across operations and support
  • Experiencetesting and tuning, system builds, disaster recovery configuration, version upgrades, and add-on installations.
  • Experience with configuration, analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, of both ABAP and Java Stacks on Windows and HANA databases. This includes diagnostic maintenance and capacity planning.
  • Experience in any of the mentioned SAP core components BODS, BOBJ, HANA DB, SLT
  • Experience with SAP S4HANA, Fiori, PI, MDG, SCM, CRM and NetWeaver products

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Certified in SAP HANA & SAP BODS.
  • Knowledge in Shell Scripting.
  • Ability to learn new skills and concepts quickly.
  • Ability to handle escalation calls.
  • Project delivery and team management skill.
  • Analytical, troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings.
