All children should have access to new technology and quality STEM education. Through Verizon Innovative Learning, we turn belief into action.
Verizon believes digital inclusion is important for all. Since 2012, Verizon Innovative Learning has provided access to hardware, connectivity and curriculum to under-resourced schools. Imaginative lesson plans designed to improve STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) proficiency, coupled with a robust support system for teachers and tablets that bring material to life, help create the kinds of transformations that change lives.
From teacher to student, student to community, generation to generation, Verizon Innovative Learning helps prepare kids not only to participate in, but to shape, the future.
Here's how Verizon Innovative Learning is helping get more students ready for tomorrow.
Giving students the ability
to do more
Verizon Innovative Learning is working to bring 5G to select schools, expecting that the next generation in wireless connectivity can fundamentally change the way students learn and educators teach. Wearing VR headsets, kids may someday explore tidal pools with a marine biologist 3,000 miles away in near-real time, or host 3D holograms of visiting scholars in their classrooms.
Suddenly a lesson plan can become a living, breathing, immersive experience.
By 2021, Verizon Innovative Learning hopes to bring 5G technology to 100 schools.
