Charlize Theron and Sean Penn appeared more in love than ever, but just like that, the Mad Max: Fury Road actress stopped picking up her phone. An insider close to Penn told Us Weekly that Theron abruptly stopped speaking with the actor during the Cannes Film Festival last month.
The Mad Max: Fury Road star abruptly ended contact with her former fiancé while they were attending Cannes together, according to a source close to Sean who spoke to US Weekly. “Charlize wasn’t responding to his calls and texts,” the source said. “She just cut it off.” Yikes! It will be interesting to hear what happened at Cannes, as the couple seemed happy and in love for the majority of the film fest. They were staying close together, taking in all the annual event had to offer, according to Hollywood Life.
