What is Roadside Assistance and what services are included for no additional charge?

Verizon Roadside Assistance provides your eligible vehicle with service for common emergency situations. Get battery jumps, towing service, help with a flat tire and more.*


Roadside Assistance service costs depend on whether or not you have a Roadside Assistance subscription. If you're a Verizon wireless customer, you can pay per use, or subscribe to Roadside Assistance** to get your services included. * Roadside Assistance service is through third-party providers.

** Subscription not available for Verizon Prepaid customers.

How much does Roadside Assistance cost when I have a subscription?

A Roadside Assistance subscription costs $4.99/mo for each enrolled line on your account. With a Roadside Assistance subscription, the following assistance is included at no extra charge:


  • Vehicle winching up to a $100 limit.

  • Fuel delivery of up to 3 gallons of fuel.

  • Jump start a dead battery.

  • Change a flat tire with your inflated spare.

  • Lockout assistance.

  • Up to 10 miles towing free in a wireless coverage area. Any additional expense incurred beyond the 10-mile limit are:
    • The responsibility of the customer.

    • Payable directly to the Signature Motor Club at the time of the call.

    • Not reimbursable.

Subscribers receive up to 4 service claims in a wireless coverage area per year and 1 additional service claim in non-coverage area per year, available using Apple's Roadside Assistance via satellite.


    • Important: Non-coverage area service requests are available only through Apple Phone 14 or newer with iOS 17.2 or later.

Commercial rates can be arranged for service after the limit has been reached or for services not covered.


Important:


  • The enrolled Verizon phone must be physically present at the time of service to be covered by Roadside Assistance.

  • Limit of 4 service calls and/or reimbursement per enrolled line during a 1-year period. These are measured from the date your benefits are activated (2 calendar days after initial enrollment) and each anniversary of that date.

How much does Roadside Assistance cost without a subscription?

Verizon wireless customers can use Roadside Assistance without a subscription. Pay-Per-Use rates with tax included are:


  • Tow - $159 for first 5 miles ($7.50 for each add'l mile)
  • Tire change - $99
  • Fuel delivery, lockout and/or jump start - $95

How much does Roadside Assistance cost if my enrolled mobile device isn't present?

A mobile device enrolled in Roadside Assistance must be physically present to be covered. Otherwise, Pay Per Use rates apply.

How do I get a Roadside Assistance subscription?

You can sign up for Roadside Assistance from Products & Plan perks.



The service follows the enrolled device, so you must have the device with you to receive Roadside Assistance. If you have more than one eligible device on your account, you may want to enroll each device. Cancel anytime through My Verizon.
