NO MORE DROPPED CALLS

Nancy - 9 months ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I live down the road from a military base, signal reception is affected. Without my 4G WIFI extender, my calls and App use on my iPhone would be difficult to non-existent. The problem has been solved as it provides full bars on my iPhone and fast and consistent connectivity, worth every penny.

Easy to set up, works very well

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Bought it a month ago, brought our 5K square foot house from 0-1 bars to 5 bars almost everywhere.

Absolutely worth the money

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

My apartment got 0 bars and only one bar when I was by the windows. This obviously wasn’t ideal because I work from home and need my phone for calls. The setup was really simple as I chatted with someone from Verizon to help me. Now I get 5 bars throughout my entire apartment. Absolutely worth it. I highly recommend.

Worth every penny!

I found the device smaller than the image on this web site indicates. Perhaps the design has changed slightly for the better since the initial model was released (mine says manufactured 3/2018). I also found the literature seems to err on the side of caution when it comes to placement of the device, when actuality it's much more versatile than the documentation makes it seem. My extender is on a computer desk inside a few feet from the router and a computer monitor; and about four feet from an exterior wall and about 10 feet horizontally from (not directly below) a skylight. Despite being nowhere near an outside window, I get 7-10 GPS satellites connected without use of the GPS antenna extension cable. The documentation also notes that the LTE Extender signal will be for about a 50-foot radius. I found mine is closer to a 125-foot radius, including the area outside and around my home. You can use the administration web site on the device to limit the transmit power if you need to, like if you live in an apartment complex. What the web site and documentation does not tell you is that you will need to contact Verizon technical support to complete setup of this device, even if you ordered it online under your My Verizon account. Here's further instructions: 1. Set up the device and it will hang at Step 9 of 14 and tell you to contact Verizon support. 2. Make sure at that point the device is indicating you have GPS satellites connected (to avoid further problems when you call). 3. Note the MAC ID on the bottom of your extender, or on the label on the box. You'll need this and your address where the device is getting set up. 4. Have your pre-selected Verizon account PIN ready. 5. Call 800-922-0204 and go ahead and indicate that this is for technical support for your regular Verizon phone number (otherwise it'll ask you for a phone number you're calling about, but there isn't one). 6. When the tech answers, ask for technical support regarding setup of a Samsung 4G LTE Network Extender 2. The regular tech support crew that handles phones does not handle this device and they will need to transfer you. 7. Provide the tech with your extender MAC ID and service address. They will then have you unplug and then plug back in the device to reboot it. They will stay on the line with you to ensure the setup is complete and your Verizon phones are properly configured to connect to the extender. 8. Enjoy full bars!

Worth it

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I used to have amazing Verizon service in my home. For whatever reason, I began to have issues about a year ago (as did my neighbors) with dropped calls, incredibly poor reception, calls never coming through, etc. I called Verizon a few times, but did not get resolution. With working from home 100% of the time now, my cell is also my business phone, and I couldn't function with the service as it was. This took about 10 minutes to set up, and I went from zero bars to all four immediately. Calls are clear, my phone actually rings now, and I have coverage throughout my (small) house and outside. I was really concerned about the $$ investment but wow.....totally worth it. Would like it to be a bit more stable or maybe have small pads or suction cup type things on the base, but that's about it.

REQUIRES INTERNET.

Doesn't fix network issue. It uses your internet.
