I bought this phone about 6 months ago b/c I needed to replace my current phone. This one was recommended by a verizon sales person b/c I didn't want to spend an arm & a leg on a new phone. To start with the phone was great then about 4 months after having the phone I noticed how slow it was starting to be. I was constantly rebooting my phone & that wasn't helping. I don't receive text messages until hours or days later. The phone will start ringing but never pops up for me to see who is calling or to be able to answer the phone. The camera is pretty bad also. I would definitely not recommend this phone. I am in the process of looking for another one & I haven't even paid this one off yet.

DO NOT BUY

hi all, i have bought this phone 150 days back (5 months). the phone is dead slow. if you open any application, it will take its own time to launch the app. the phone will crash and applications will crash when in use. if you are driving with google maps it will hang after some time and you have to stand in the middle of the road without knowing the route. such a worst phone i have ever used in my life. i would have been happy if it at least worked for a year. it's stopped working in 5 months exactly. wasted my money. please do not buy or recommend it to anyone.

Restarting all the time, super laggy playing games. Had it about 2 months, trading it in, can't stand it anymore.

17 months of minimal use with this phone. Haven't even paid it off (2 year agreement). No longer connects to the network and Verizon says there's nothing else they can do. Either but a new phone or be without one.

Piece of junk, wish I could give zero stars

unhappyowner3 · 1 months ago

The phone was only 3 months old when an update crashed it and it seems to be beyond repair. No one in my area can service the phone so I sent it off to TX. They can't fix it so are sending it back to me unrepaired. I'm asking for a refund from Samsung since I purchased it directly from them but haven't heard that they will do so. I will never purchase another Samsung product based on my current experience with them.

The worst phone I've ever had

1 out of 5 rating

Pepper · 2 months ago

I'm not sure why verizon has only 2 phones to choose from for prepaid plans but this is one of them..I use Samsung products exclusively but this phone has made me rethink this. The camera is the worst quality out of all the models in the past 8 years. The processor is so old that most apps won't download. Like banking apps, etc I can't tell if verizon has had this model stripped down or what?! Prepaid needs more options or let me bring my own Samsung. They won't always let you byop even if it's the same model etc.
