Worse than the s20 ultra

Lonesols · 1 days ago

This phone over heats and under locks it self to slower than a s20 within 5 mins of playing RuneScape. It’s stability is 40 percent in wildlife stress which is horrid. It gets so hot it is painful too hold. They also removed the charger, and the screen is worse than a s20 ultra, adding in no SD card. Samsung really went down hill. There is no point in not getting a apple 13 over this, and don’t take me as a fan boy either, I use to say the same about apple when Samsung was better. Samsung use to let you mod the phone, with rims, expand the storage and have a head phone port. It also use to have better hardware for cheaper. Now it’s so far behind the a15 it’s a joke. This phone is far from worth 1199 far far far. It is so far behind apple it’s like paying 1199 for a PlayStation 3. The apple 13 pro max when it is under clocked to the max is still way faster than Samsung is at full speed, and the oled on apple is better. If you really gotta stay android the choices are red magic 6 or asus rog phone 5, they are the only 2 that can handle the snapdragon 888 with out over heating. If you want a good camera and Samsung go with the ultra 20 it is a better phone all around, better screen, 70 percent stability, come with a charger, and as card reader. Samsung is using the same garbage tactics apple use too use, just using popularity to sell over priced garbage. Samsung and snapdragon are so far behind now even 2 new generations of snap dragon will still be slower than the current a15. And yes I owned all those phones. The s20 ultra I dropped on a nail and broke it. The s21 I compared to the s20 before it broke, and took it back. I currently have the iPhone pro max 13 and red magic 6.

Not too bad, but there are things I'd like to se

Travis · 2 days ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Upgraded from the Note 8 to the 5g Ultra. Camera is exceptional, sound quality (with HD) is crystal clear, and the processor is fast! Things I wish hadnt changed: 1. I LOATHE the loss of the notification light on the front. The new "flash/edge" notification is easily missed. The old notification light was something I always looked for if I had a message. I keep my phone on vibrate 90% of the time, so I relied on that light to let me know so I didnt have to engage the phone if I didnt need to . 2. Please put the fingerprint scanner back on the backside of the phone. I find it unweildy being on the front, esp if you choose to not use your thumb for unlocking. 3. Sim cards have been addressed already. Those are really the only two complaints I have...the notifcation light being the most important to me, at any rate.

Disappointed

tdanielle5 · 4 days ago

I upgraded from a Note 10+, hadn't really used my note feature and wanted to try the better camera features. I've never really had issues with Verizon signal or network connections. I've had this phone about 2 months and am constantly losing network connection and service. I didn't change my plan or anything, just my phone, and now I'm very disappointed. It's kinda hard to enjoy your phone if you are constantly losing the ability to use it.....

Galaxy s20 ultra

I have the galaxy s20 ultra since it first came out and have had nothing but problems with it since. It constantly overheats while on or off the charger. It freezes up and looses signal. I wish I wouldve kept my s9. What a waste of money. Don't buy this. You will regret it.

FLICKERING SCREEN & DROPPED CALLS

Rokk · 4 days ago

This phone is the worst I have ever owned, Phone screen flickers constantly & fades in out. Battery life is very poor and the phone gets hot at times. Also, constantly goes into a not registered on network error. this was a 512G phone and was a $1700 waste of money. Absolutely hate this phone!

Where is the microSD card slot???

Cmtownsend · 5 days ago

So the upgraded camera with 108 megapixels uses more memory. What's the purpose of improving the camera I'd the memory isn't there? This is one of the reasons I chose Samsung over Apple. If this feature doesn't come back on the next generation my next phone will be an iPhone.

Poor quality and very fragile

Karich · 5 days ago

I've owned Samsung Galaxy series phones for over a decade. One of the most powerful phones ever, but its build quality is inconsistent, especially the display. A minor scratch on a 6-month-old phone blackout part screen, and the phone is unusable and not covered under warranty.

Nothing but a headache

jjmatz · 6 days ago

The Ultra S21 has motherboard problems causing the phone to shut down. Samsung requires the phone to be sent to them where they work on it for a month. Dont buy it. It has a great camera system, but too many headaches considering it is their flag ship phone.

Why no SD memory card slot? For Samsung to continually upgrade the camera systems and ever larger file sizes, we NEED the convenience of memory cards!!! It looks like I will have to stay with my S10 Plus until you build S22 with memory card slots!!!
