Fios Order Status & Confirmation FAQs

Your Verizon Fios service order confirmation includes key details about your order:

• The scheduled date your service turns on or when a technician arrives.
• Order number.
• A breakdown of your chosen plans, equipment, and discounts.
• An itemized list of monthly fees, one-time charges and/or estimate of your first bill.
• Tracking for home delivery, store pickup or tech installation

Shipping may take 3-5 business days. You’ll receive an email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

Important to know: Carriers don’t ship or deliver on Sundays or official holidays.

We offer 3 delivery methods:

• Home Delivery: Standard shipping carriers like UPS deliver equipment directly to your residential address.
• Store Pickup: If store pick up was selected at the time of order, check your email for the store location.
• Technician for a full installation: A Verizon setup expert delivers and sets up your equipment at your location.

Important: Check your service order confirmation email for your selected delivery method.

Once you’ve placed an order, you can always view and check the status in your My Verizon account. You can also track your equipment shipping details, modify your due date and update your contact information.

You can track your order on My Verizon online:

1. Sign into the My Verizon website.
2. Select Take Action on your dashboard.
   • Or click the tracking link in your confirmation email.
3. Review your complete order timeline and status. 

You can track your order using a mobile device:

1. Open and sign in to the My Verizon app.
2. Select Orders on the account dashboard.
3. View your detailed order timeline and shipping updates. 

Rescheduling

Yes, you can change your technician installation appointment date and time before your scheduled date by accessing your order dashboard in My Verizon.

Cancelling

Yes, you can cancel but you must cancel the appointment before your installation date. This ensures a technician isn’t dispatched. If Fios equipment was already shipped to your address prior to cancellation, it must be returned within 30 days of order cancellation to avoid unreturned equipment charges.

Modify your setup appointment date before your scheduled service:

1. Sign in to My Verizon from our website or app.
2. Select your service ticket under Orders.
3. Select Change Date to pick a new appointment date or select Cancel Order.
   

You can manage technician visits directly online:

1. Sign in to My Verizon from our website or app.
2. Select your installation ticket on the dashboard.
3. Update your phone number or email, track shipped equipment, or change your installation date.
   

Check your online profile to confirm your contact details and communication preferences. Also check your spam or junk folder.

You can view your confirmation in your My Verizon account.

Each time your order changes, you'll receive a new confirmation. Make sure you’re looking at the latest version sent.

An order preview lets you review your items and pricing before submitting your order. If you make changes before completing your purchase, you may receive multiple previews.

Your order confirmation serves as your official receipt after you submit the order.

Your final order confirmation may differ from an order preview if you change your order before final submission without requesting a new preview.

1. Check entryways, porches and side doors at your address.
2. Ask family members or neighbors if they accepted the delivery.
3. Contact Us for immediate shipment tracking help.

If your equipment takes longer than expected to arrive:

1. Sign in to your My Verizon account.
2. Select Orders to verify your tracking number and carrier status.
3. Connect with the carrier directly, or visit their website to check the most up-to-date delivery status using the tracking number from Orders.
   1. In-Transit Inquiries: Customers must contact the carrier directly for any questions regarding tracking statuses, delivery ETAs, or delays. Our agents cannot assist with these issues.
   2. Delivery Failures: We will only step in to reissue an order if there is an actual delivery exception, such as the package being delivered to the wrong address or a 'delivered but not received' dispute.
   3. Contact Us if your delivery date passes without an update.
