Can I get a computer virus from spam? How can Verizon Online help me with spam?
  1. Use Spam Detector to help prevent spam. This tool filters spam before it reaches your Inbox. Spam Detector is automatically enabled when you set up your Verizon Online account during installation and begins filtering spam right away.


  2. Report spam that reaches your Inbox. If you are using a spam-filtering tool and still receive spam email, please forward the entire message, with full headers displayed, to spamdetector.notcaught@verizon.net.


  3. Report False Positives. If you feel an email message was identified as spam in error, send the original message to spamdetector.update@verizon.net for consideration.
