Steps to create a D-Link DI-624 wireless home network in Windows XP

  1. The D-Link wireless icon (Figure depicting USB icon) will display in the right Taskbar. If the icon is green, the wireless notebook adapter is installed and you are ready to access the Internet.

  2. If the "Wireless networks detected" message displays near the right Taskbar, click anywhere in the message to access the Windows Wireless Network Connection utility.

    Note: If the networks detected message doesn't display, double-click on the Windows network connection icon (Figure depicting Windows Connection Icon) in the right Taskbar.

  3. When the "Choose a Wireless network" window displays, select your wireless network and click Connect.
