Entering your WPA security settings
Creating a Verizon 9100 wireless network in Windows 7
- Select WPA-Personal in the Security type field. Please note that the Encryption type field will automatically change to TKIP. [Show Me]
- Enter your WPA encryption key in the Security Key field.
- The WPA key can be 8 - 63 case-sensitive characters (ASCII) or 64 hexadecimal characters (0-9 and A - F)
Select Hide characters to replace the entry in the Security Key field with dots for greater security. [Show Me]
Select Start this connection automatically if you want to connect to this wireless network each time you log in to your computer.
Click Close when the screen displays confirming that your new connection has been added.
