  • Account Manager Place a Call - FiOS Digital Voice You can use Place a Call to make a call from your Account Manager

    Using the Calls and Messages Log

    1. Open the FiOS Digital Voice Account Manager.

    2. From the Calls and Messages log, click the name or telephone number you want to call.

    3. In the pop-up window, click either Call in Phone Book or Call Back in the call logs menu.

    4. In the next pop-up window, click the telephone number you want to call.

    5. Click Dial.

    6. When your FiOS® Digital Voice phone rings, pick up your handset and wait for the person on the other end to pick up.
    Using the Place a Call Icon You can click the Place a Call icon to make a call also. The icon is located at the top menu bar in the FiOS Voice Account Manager.

    1. Open the FiOS Digital Voice Account Manager.

    2. Click the Place a Call icon.

    3. Enter a phone number, select a recently called number from the drop-down menu, or click Browse Phone Book to select a number.

    4. Click Dial.
      Your FiOS Digital Voice phone line will ring, once the call is placed.

    5. Pick up your FiOS Digital Voice handset and wait for the person you are calling to pick up.

    6. If the number you dialed is engaged, you will hear a busy tone.
    Using the Phone Book to Place a Call
    1. Open the FiOS Digital Voice Account Manager.

    2. Open the Phone Book tab.

    3. Browse for the name of the person you want to call.

    4. Click the name, then click Call on the drop-down menu.
      A second window opens where you have the choice of dialing the number or entering a new number.

    5. Click Dial.
      Your FiOS Digital Voice phone will ring.

    6. Pick up your FiOS Digital Voice handset and wait for the person you are calling to pick up.

    7. If the number you dialed is engaged, you will hear a busy tone.
