We do. In fact, we have a dedicated recruitment team for each major branch of service: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. Our teams are made up of veterans and military spouses who represent all regions of the U.S. Contact a military recruiter.

Does Verizon attend career fairs and events for service members?

Yes, we do. Check our calendar to register for upcoming events. Choose “Military Events” under the “Event Types” menu and click “Apply.”

I want to work for Verizon once I leave the military in 12 to 18 months. When should I contact you?

Congrats on your service and on planning your next step. The best time to reach out is about 90 days before you are eligible to start the next great chapter in your career.

How do I apply? Do I need paperwork from the military?

No special paperwork is required. Just search for a job and apply for any positions that you are interested in. And definitely note that you are a veteran when asked on the application.

Due to my service in the military, I don’t have a college degree. Will Verizon still consider me?

Absolutely. We’ll consider your time in the military, experience and military spouse status as we review your application.
