What you’ll be doing...

As a Specialist in the Strategic Program Management team of the Verizon Business Group, you'll be driving multiple programs related to the transformation Pillars which will include Budget and resource governance, Employee Experience, Branding and Communication, Innovation , talent transformation etc. You will manage all the initiatives establishing clear focus areas and coming up with innovative ideas which will enable Verizon Business Group to create a culture that values people and process. Some of the key responsibilities include.

  • Driving multiple programs and providing updates/Analysis to leadership team.
  • Working and maintain multiple reports and provide insights while focussing on Automation.
  • Ensuring the communications and collaboration within the Portfolio as prime focus.
  • Ensuring strong Focus on Budget and Resource Management.
  • Coordinating Internal and External events ensuring we create visibility within and outside the portfolio by ensuring active participation.
  • Collaborating with the employees and keeping them engaged on all communication channels.
  • Driving Innovation as a culture in the team by coordinating with the core team and driving Hackathon events.
  • Identifying areas for improvements which will in turn enhance the overall employee experience.

Where you'll be working...

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree and four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Business Operations / PM function.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master’s in Business Administration/Communications.
  • High proficiency levels on MS Excel/ PowerPoint/ G Suite.
  • Ability to lead and work as a team player.
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills.
  • Experience in leading and managing events.
