What you’ll be doing...

The Senior Inventory Planning Analyst will provideadvanced inventory support for the Engineering and Assurance teams. Providing high-level analytics for Sub-Markets on Inventory Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) along with working closely with budget teams, you will ensure equipment assets are retired and accrued quarterly. You will serve as Subject Matter Expert for training for Inventory tools such as CATS, I-DASH, EPoling, SWAT.

  • Maintaining physical inventory transfers within departments and our inventory management process.
  • Communicating effectively with warehouse personnel, technicians and Engineers for all equipment movement and returns.
  • Running and analyzing weekly/monthly reports and strive to meet regional and area KPIs or inventory management and audits.
  • Developing and maintaining standard operating processes and procedures for management of Regional and Area Inventory.
  • Performing cycle counts on Cell Site, MSC, spares, staging facility and vehicle storage locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Working with various vendors to expedite repair and replacement components to accomplish network repairs in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring appropriate levels of equipment spares are maintained per network engineering and vendor recommendations.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation and track RMA process.
  • Analyzing and recommending strategies to project management teams to reduce CIP (Capital not drawing revenue) and re-use of equipment to reduce spend.
  • Reporting and advising on aspects of SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) compliance.
  • Enforcing compliance from equipment engineering and general contractors to ensure proper tracking of all movement of equipment, which includes to and from staging facility to the field, general contractor management, and repairs and returns.

Physical requirements of the job may include, but are not limited to:lifting and carrying objects weighing up to approximately 30 pounds.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Experience with manipulating and analyzing large reports of data.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

  • A degree.
  • Fulcrum CATS inventory system and PeopleSoft purchasing system experience.
  • Inventory/Asset Management experience.
  • Worked in a team environment.
  • Process improvement experience.
  • Experience generating reports.
