What you’ll be doing...


As a Technology Specialist, you’ll be asked to perform many functions while helping our sales and service users achieve their objectives through homegrown Verizon technology platforms.


Specifically, under a senior member of the team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct requirements interview.
  • Documentation of business requirements / user stories.
  • Consultation on solution options and presentation with IT, UAT planning and script development, UAT execution, production shakeout, and pre and post go-live planning and support.
  • Conduct meetings as needed to cover any of the topics above.

This position can be located in any valid Central or Eastern Time Zone Verizon location or work remotely within a reasonable commute distance to a valid Verizon location.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of experience in technical project management and/or project implementation.
  • Experience leading strategic/consultative sessions with clients.
  • Experience in building/documentation of requirements, consultation on solution design, UAT prep and execution, and pre and post-go-live support.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of time

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • PMP certification
  • Ability to work well across multiple work streams and have ability to develop relationships.
  • Ability to work with all levels within the organization effectively.
  • Detail oriented with organization skills.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
