What you’ll be doing...
You will act as a SPOC for all the infrastructure automation activities within our function. You will collaborate with the teams of other operation functions in order to understand the tasks performed at present and identify areas of automating them through server scripting & also orchestrate them using the workflow tools. You are a continuous learner and should be willing to train the existing team members on the knowledge you are bringing into the organization. You will act as a bridge between the operations team and the development team helping in the integration of the server automation scripts to existing application portals.
- Partnering with operation teams and identifying areas of automation.
- Automating the infrastructure environment and its operations.
- Enabling continuous improvement of daily operational support.
- Orchestrating the workflows of day-to-day activities.
- Collaborating with development, DB teams to integrate automation flows with app portals.
- Driving innovation and deriving strategies to improve the overall experience.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Four or more years of work experience in Linux (UNIX variants) and Windows operating systems.
- Three or more years of work experience in CI CD tool chain including configuration management tools, CI tools, and logging Tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Django / Flask, Power Shell, Shell scripting).
- RPA experience in automating manual tasks.
- Experience with AWS Services (EC2, S3, EBS, ELB, Cloud Formation) or in Azure, OCI, OpenStack or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of virtualization, network, security and patch management.
Even better if you have:
- Master's degree with four or more years of work experience.
- Knowledge of “HP Operations Orchestration” automation workflow.
- Relevant technical certifications related to Infrastructure & Cloud.
