What you’ll be doing...

SOE Sales is a suite of application systems geared to support users within several internal departments to process a variety of customer transactions, including equipment sales and ordering, airtime service sales, bill payments, equipment returns and repairs, account maintenance, pricing, inventory and discounting and rebates.

  • Solve problems by root cause analysis approach.
  • Work closely with developers leading the other platform development and ensuring architecture development happens as per proposals made.
  • Prepare presentations on proposal and present at executive teams and stakeholders.
  • Work directly with developers and product managers/stakeholder to conceptualize, build, test and realize products.
  • Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into great customer experiencing functional solutions.
  • Work on delivering prototypes to drive new concepts for future projects and extended digital experience.
  • Work along the various developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps.
  • Work with the front end developers to build the interface with focus on usability features.
  • Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences.
  • Optimize performance for the apps.
  • Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies and services platforms.
  • Have high exposure to large scale enterprise systems right from billing, order, support architectures and design.
  • Work with Product Development Managers – Internal Customers, working with the various Development teams to develop ideas concepts and solutions that can drive great customer experience and digital experience.
  • Work very closely with the global development/ engineering teams responsible for the web sites and Mobile Apps.
  • Align with Project Managers to effectively drive architecture across multiple projects and delivering to deadlines.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Core Java/J2EE technology experience.
  • Strong Agile / Scrum development methodologies with hands on experience.
  • CI/CI DevOps integration experience.
  • Knowledgeof Microservices (Sprinboot) Technologies.
  • AWS Cloud technology, preferable AWS Certified.
  • Platforms development experience for faster and smooth mobile web experience.
  • Experience of development using web technologies.
  • Knowledgeof Object Oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Mobile client side frameworks /Web/JS frameworks experience.
  • Experience building web and native apps.
  • Experience on integration with social media APIs.
  • Experience using version control (e.g. SVN, TFS, GIT).
  • Knowledge of Data structures.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Programming optimization technique concepts such as caching.
  • Performance engineering/testing automation tools
  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
  • Extensive Problem solving skills and Analytical Skills.
  • Worked in a large enterprise application especially in the Retail domain
  • Extensive understanding of Responsive design, Mobile integration
  • Experience in Mobile web integration frameworks development.
