Section IV.5 - Pre-Verizon Business Services I Rates and Charges

Rates and charges set forth below apply to Internet Dedicated Services in the U.S. Mainland under Guide Types 2, 3, 4, and Guide Types 6, 7, and 9, and do not include local access circuit charges, charges for extended wiring to or at Customer premises, equipment costs, or network application fees.

Burstable Select. For Burstable Select service, a monthly recurring overage usage charge applies per kilobit or megabit, as applicable, for Burstable Select service in each monthly period in which Customers Measured Use Level exceeds Customer's Bandwidth Commitment for a circuit. Usage which exceeds Customer's Bandwidth Commitment will be measured in kilobit or megabit increments. If the measurement includes a fraction of a kilobit or megabit, the fraction is rounded to the next full kilobit or megabit.

Relocation or Retermination Charges. A Relocation or Retermination Fee applies for the modification of an existing Internet Dedicated Service, at Customer request, that requires Company to reterminate the circuit to a different router or relocate the circuit to a different hub. Relocation or Retermination Fees are based on port speed as specified in the following.

Available port type and speeds (in Mbps) are as follows:

OC192 Tiered (Mbps): 2000*, 2500*, 3000*-9000* and 10000 Mbps;

Burstable Select* (Mbps): 2000, 2500, and 3000-10000 in 1000 Mbps increments;

and also includes Price-Protected*, Shadow*, Double* and Diverse* options.

Tiered 10 GigE (Mbps): 2000, 2500, 3000, 4000, 5000 and 7000;

Burstable Select (Mbps): 1000, 2000, 2500, 3000, 4000, 5000, 7000 and 10000;

10. Port Reconfiguration Charges. A Port Reconfiguration Charge applies for the modification of an existing Internet Dedicated Service, at Customer request, that involves a change to the Service Type, Burstable Select commitment speed, or Tiered service level which do not require a change to current port speed. Port Reconfiguration Charges are based on port speed and Service Type.

11. Aggregated Billing Charges.

Aggregated Billing Monthly Recurring and Non Recurring Charges

11.2 Overage Charges. Each month the Customers Aggregated Billing usage is automatically reviewed. An overage charge applies per megabit for Aggregated Billing service in each monthly period in which Customers Measured Use Level across all active circuits exceeds Customer's Aggregated Bandwidth Contribution. The per megabit overage charge is calculated by dividing the total aggregated monthly recurring charges by the Aggregated Bandwidth Contribution.
