Support Billing & Account Payment Arrangements
How do you want to make a payment arrangement?

Payment arrangements

Missed a payment or need more time to pay? No worries. Just let us know.

If your payment won’t reach us by its due date, you can set up a payment arrangement to get extra time to pay the balance due and protect your services from possible interruption. Any late payment charges will still apply, though.

You have 2 options:

  1. Schedule a different date to pay your balance or past due amount (or)
  2. Split the balance or past due amount into two payments on two different dates.

Once your request for payment arrangement has been approved, you’ll receive confirmation so you can put your plan into action.

  • Why should I schedule a Payment Arrangement?

  • If your account is eligible, you can schedule a Payment Arrangement to protect your services from possible interruption if your payment won’t reach us by the due date on your bill. By scheduling a Payment Arrangement you’ll be allowed extra time to pay the balance due.

Note: A Payment Arrangement won’t suppress a late payment charge, so the late payment charge may still apply.

  • How can I schedule a Payment Arrangement?

  • There are several ways for you to make a Payment Arrangement. You can schedule one, free of charge, 24 hours/7 days a week with the My Fios app, by signing in to My Verizon, or using our Automated Phone Service.

A $7 Agent Assistance Fee will be charged for any payment arrangement made with a Customer Service Representative over the phone.

  • I scheduled a payment and a Payment Arrangement already, but I need to change the withdrawal date from my bank/credit card account. Do I need to update both the Payment Arrangement and scheduled payment date?

  • Yes, please be sure to update both. Updating the Payment Arrangement date alone won’t change when the payment will withdraw from your specified payment account.

  • Is scheduling a payment the same as scheduling a Payment Arrangement?

  • No. When you schedule a payment with the My Fios app, at verizon.com or our Automated Phone Service, you are not creating a Payment Arrangement, only authorizing Verizon to withdraw the payment from your selected account on the date specified.

  • Why is my bill higher this month?

  • Did you set up, modify or cancel a payment arrangement with a Customer Service Representative over the phone? If so, you'll see a $7 Agent Assistance Fee.
