If your payment won’t reach us by its due date, you can set up a payment arrangement to get extra time to pay the balance due and protect your services from possible interruption. Any late payment charges will still apply, though.

A Payment Arrangement is an agreed upon plan for paying your account balance (current or past due) on or before a specified date.
If your account is eligible, you can schedule a Payment Arrangement to protect your services from possible interruption if your payment won’t reach us by the due date on your bill. By scheduling a Payment Arrangement you’ll be allowed extra time to pay the balance due.
Note: A Payment Arrangement won’t suppress a late payment charge, so the late payment charge may still apply.
There are several ways for you to make a Payment Arrangement. You can schedule one, free of charge, 24 hours/7 days a week with the My Fios app, by signing in to My Verizon, or using our Automated Phone Service.
A $7 Agent Assistance Fee will be charged for any payment arrangement made with a Customer Service Representative over the phone.

A $7 Agent Assistance Fee will be charged for any payment arrangement modification made with a Customer Service Representative over the phone.
Yes, please be sure to update both. Updating the Payment Arrangement date alone won’t change when the payment will withdraw from your specified payment account.
No. When you schedule a payment with the My Fios app, at verizon.com or our Automated Phone Service, you are not creating a Payment Arrangement, only authorizing Verizon to withdraw the payment from your selected account on the date specified.

You'll see the $7 Agent Assistance Fee for payment arrangements made with a Customer Service Representative over the phone in the One Time Charges section of your bill.
We don't charge fees for using any of our self-serve methods, such as the My Fios App, myverizon.com, or our Automated Phone Service.
