The Fios TV Interactive Media Guide (IMG) combines TV, internet, and advanced search features into one media-management system. This is the place to access the Channel Guide, On Demand, Pay Per View and other Fios features and functions.

Verizon is rolling out a new look for the Fios Guide! We are updating the guide to make it easier to use, customize and faster to find your content. Select GUIDE on your Fios TV remote or say "guide" on your Fios TV Voice Remote.
*Only available to customers with VMS1100/IPC1100 or Fios TV One VMS4100/IPC4100 DVRs
How to use the current Fios IMG
There are two ways to use the IMG Search feature. Using your Fios remote, press:
- B (blue) button
- Menu > Search > use your arrow buttons and follow the prompts

- Browse by keyword, category, and/or content type

How can I change the style of the guide view?
There are several ways to view the guide. Press the Guide button on your Fios remote once or twice to see different views. Using your Fios remote, you can filter by selecting Guide > Options.
Note: The font size cannot be adjusted.
How far in advance can I see and record future programs in my guide?
The guide shows content that is coming on TV up to two weeks in advance.
Where are my HD and SD channels?
- Using a HD formatted TV, view channels 500 and above
- Using a SD formatted TV, view channels 499 and below
Note: not all content is available in HD regardless of which channel you are watching. HD-formatted picture quality is based on the connection HDMI or component cable.
How do I set up recordings using my guide?
There are two options to record programs using your guide:
- Record one episode - find your program, press Record
- Multiple recordings (series) - find your program, press Record twice and select your recording options
What happens when there is no guide available?
The guide could be missing because there is no internet connection. First, check your internet connection.
Note: Digital Adapters DCT700 STB do not provide access to the guide.
Why is my guide displaying a different program from what is showing?
When the guide displays a different program from what is showing, it is caused by a “mismatch” in the program guide.
For additional assistance, use the Guided Solutions Tool to fix issues with your TV guide or to change settings. You will need to select:
- Next > Sign in > then follow the prompt

Can I use the IMG to find programs On Demand?
Yes! There are two ways to find On Demand videos with the IMG. Using your Fios remote, press the:
- On Demand button and explore using your remote Arrow buttons
- Menu > On Demand and navigate using your Arrow buttons
Note: If you’ve previously purchased or rented a video, you can view them under My Stuff.
How can I view the IMG in Spanish?
To view the IMG in Spanish using your Fios TV remote, press:
- Menu > Select Settings > System > Language > IMG Language > Spanish
How can I get a printed listing of my channels?
To get a printer-friendly listing, go to Channel Listing > TV Plan > Zip Code > Print Screen.
How do I turn Closed Captions on or off using the IMG?
Most Fios TV remote control models give you the option to easily turn Closed.
Captioning on or off by pressing the button, towards the bottom of your Fios remote.
To turn Closed Captions on or off with the IMG using your Fios remote, press:
- Menu > Select Settings > System > Language > IMG Language > Service Selection
- Select one of the CC (Closed Caption) options, press OK
- CC1 = primary language the show is broadcast in (usually English)
- CC2 = secondary language the show is broadcast in (usually Spanish if available)
- CC3 thru CC6 (additional languages)
- Select one of the CC (Closed Caption) options, press OK
- Press the right-arrow to highlight Save, press OK, and press OK again to confirm
You can also change other Closed Captioning preferences by following the prompts on your TV screen.
Note: Closed Captioning may not be available based on your equipment and/or setup. Standard Definition set-top box or digital adapters may be unable to send or receive closed captioning.
You may need to use Closed Captioning features built into your TV. You may also need to refer to the manufacturer’s guide to toggle the closed captions for your TV settings.
