  • Download the Verizon Cloud mobile and desktop app on unlimited eligible devices: iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows.
  • Unlimited Individual Cloud Storage: Single user, one phone, multiple computers and tablets.
  • Unlimited Group Cloud Storage: Includes up to 5 people.
  • If moving to a non-qualifying plan, you will lose your perk discount and will be billed $13.99/mo for Verizon Cloud Unlimited Individual or $19.99/mo for Verizon Cloud Unlimited Group, as applicable, until canceled.
  • If canceling Unlimited Individual Cloud Storage or Unlimited Group Cloud Storage, your data will immediately become unavailable for use. Prior to canceling the service, download any content that you or a Group Member would like to save.
  • Unlimited Ultimate, Unlimited Plus, Unlimited Welcome & Welcome Unlimited plans are eligible to purchase the Unlimited Individual Cloud Storage plan perk. 5G Home, 5G Home Plus, 5G Home Ultimate, LTE Home, LTE Home Plus, and Fios (except Classic Standalone) Verizon Home Internet (VHI) plans are eligible to purchase the Unlimited Individual Cloud Storage or Unlimited Group Cloud Storage plan perks.

What is Verizon Cloud?

Verizon Cloud offers the ability to easily and automatically back up files in their original form, and sync to compatible devices on Android, iOS, Windows or macOS.

Automatic Backup: Choose between backing up your files manually or setting up automatic, always-on backups for reliable peace of mind.

Essential Security: Keep your private information secure and accessible only by you, with security features like a PIN-protected Locked Folder.

Advanced Searching: Find and share photos and videos quickly and easily. Revisit vacations, gatherings of family and friends, and more with sophisticated search tools and an automatic playback feature that surprise and delight.

Cross Device Compatibility: Save and access your files on your phone, tablet and computer, regardless of operating system (Android and iOS compatible).

What types of files can I store in Verizon Cloud?

Mobile Phones, Tablets, Laptops

  • Contacts (sync only)
  • Photos

  • Music*
  • Text messages* (sync only)
  • Call logs* (sync only)

* Not available for Apple iOS devices. Call logs are Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) and are subject to Verizon’s Privacy Policy.

File Upload Limits
  • Max individual file size: 10 GB
  • Daily upload limit: 50 GB per user after the initial backup is complete. After 500 GB is uploaded in a month, the daily upload limit reduces to 10 GB/day for the remainder of the month.

Verizon Cloud does not back up mobile or computer operating systems, settings, apps, app data, servers, email platforms, external storage drives, and certain uncommon file types or formats.

Who is eligible for Verizon Cloud?

Verizon Cloud customers must have:
  • A Verizon mobile phone plan or Verizon Home Internet plan
  • Compatible devices running current software:
    • Apple iOS 15.x, 16.x or higher; iPadOS 16.x or higher; macOS X Mojave (10.14) or higher
    • Android OS 12.x or higher
    • Windows 10 version 1903 or higher
Some plans have Verizon Cloud Storage included at no charge. 600 GB Cloud Storage is included with 5G Get More, 5G Do More, Get More Unlimited, Do More Unlimited and Above Unlimited mobile plans* and select Fios and 5G Home internet plans.

Customers that leave Verizon will have their Verizon Cloud access terminated in disconnection. Access can be restored with a Cloud for Life subscription.

How much does Verizon Cloud cost and what are my storage options?

The monthly charge for Verizon Cloud depends on the tier of service you choose, and the number of lines on your account with access. Mobile phone contacts backup is free of charge.

Single user:
600 GB for $5.99/mo*
Unlimited Individual for $13.99/mo ($10/mo with myPlan or myHome plan perk)

Up to 5 users:
Unlimited Group for $19.99/mo ($15/mo with myHome plan perk)
