How can I tell if Second Number will work on my mobile phone?
If you’re shopping for a smartphone and want to use Second Number, the phone’s primary SIM can be a physical SIM or an electronic SIM (eSIM). The smartphone must also have:
At least one available eSIM.
Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) capability enabled.

How do I add the Second Number perk to my plan?
You can add the Second Number perk from My Verizon:
Sign in to your phone and/or wireless home internet account.
Go to Products & plan perks.
Select Plan perks, then select the tile for Second Number.
Select the Second Number myPlan perk, then Continue.
Select the line that’s adding the Second Number perk.
Follow the prompts to confirm your changes.
Note: Adding the perk does not activate your Second Number. You must set up and activate the eSIM for your Second Number line from the Primary line’s device.
If you don’t set up Second Number immediately after adding the perk, look for activation instructions in your email.
