Just a phone!

5 out of 5 rating

Pam54 · 4 months ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Great phone for senior citizens who want no Internet access. I have a family member where Internet access confuses the daylights out of them. Very simple phone. Large numbers. 20 bucks and you add it to your plan. No Internet fees. Just a phone.

Small text

Greg · 5 months ago

I maxed out the size of the text and it's still too small for my mother to read anything. Tried turning on the "voice read out"...but it's really annoying.

I hate this phone!

1 out of 5 rating

Mike · 7 months ago

After using a 3G flip (LG) quite satisfactorily for almost ten years, this thing is neither user-friendly nor intuitive. It came with no instruction manual (the on-line manual is a joke); contacts are a pain to reach; texting is frustrating; I receive messages that won't "download"; speed dial #s are limited; and more. I just want a phone- calls and texts... I believe this is Verizon's way of convincing me to upgrade(?) to a smart-phone!

Worst. Phone. EVER

1 out of 5 rating

I had my old flip phone die and I needed a quick phone in a pinch and at the time Verizon only had two flip phones on their website so I went for the Kazuna E-talk. It's probably been a little over a year and I can say this is the worst piece of trash around. There is NO progressive text, so it will NOT learn words and does not understand most slang terms. The actual phone itself is very VERY sluggish, and sometimes anything you type will be sluggish, not show up for 3-5 seconds, or just randomly put 0s in even if pressing other keys. The cherry on top was the whole phone is very poorly and cheaply made and the hinge cracked right off the base soooo I get to buy a new phone. Do yourselves a favor and avoid this piece of trash!

Disappointed

2 out of 5 rating

janaz1954 · 8 months ago

I'm sorry to say that this phone is a HUGE disappointment. I chose it because my husband has the Alcatel that is available here, and I hate it. The eTalk works well for me as long as I have the speaker on, because my hearing is so bad. However, everyone can hear my conversations. Also, I read a review that said the battery was so great and lasted 5 days between charging. I have to charge this phone every day, and often time it has died on me in the middle of a conversation. The buttons on the phone are "punchy" -- sometimes they work, sometimes I have to push them several times. It is very disgruntling that Verizon does not offer a decent basic flip phone for those of us who choose not to spend hundreds of dollars on a smart phone (or their husband won't allow it). I would think twice before buying this phone.

Waste of money

Bought this for my dad and he’s better off with no phone than having to deal with this. This phone doesn’t ring and then he’ll end up with missed calls. This has barely, if any sound, that the rare few times it does ring you can’t even hear it! Half of his calls don’t even go through.
