The newly purchased phone developed cracks on the outside screen. It was purchased two weeks ago and carried only in my pocket. It was not dropped or abused in any way.! We took a chance and returned to the Verizon store. The young man at the store that we spoke with was extremely rude and condescending. Unprofessional service is unacceptable when dealing with the public! Disgusted

Update from my post below: I returned the phone that we were told had no internet and received the correct one. Be sure to make the sure it is the correct SKU on the box. Thanks to this website page, I was able to go back to Verizon and show them I needed the SKU TCL-T435V and not TCL-T435S. Even the manager at the store did not know there was a difference but thankfully they did have it in stock. The phone is simple to use, no internet or web browsing but it does have the radio and my teen likes that! So that is win for us. Has an audio port to plug in headphones when chatting on phone or listening to radio. Highly recommend for someone wanting a simple phone, especially for teens who want to be connected and avoid smart phones.

Purchased this phone today to have a phone for talking and texting only. I was ensured by the rep there was no internet. Sure enough there is internet and YouTube. Andi can’t find a way to disable or remove. I will be returning. If you’re okay with internet this phone would be perfect. It’s simple and easy to use.

does TCL FLIP 3 have a battery indicator when charging

The phone does not have an LED to indicate that it is charging. However, when there is enough charge on the battery, the screen will prompt the status of the battery charge. Therefore, when the battery is completely at zero charge, it will take 5 to 10 minutes for the battery to charge before the screen indicates the battery charging status. To have a fully charged battery, all the battery to charge for several hours. - Kevin.

During charging when there is enough battery charge, a battery charging icon will appear on the screen. If the battery is discharged fully, it can take 5 to 10 minutes to charge up before displaying the battery charging icon. When charging the phone while it is on, the status bar at the top of the screen will show a symbol of the battery connecting to a charger and charging. It is recommended that the phone is charged at the end of the day to prevent the battery from fully discharged and that your phone is ready and available for use. When the phone is on, it is consuming the battery charge whether in use or not. - Kevin.

Can parental controls be used to block certain outgoing calls to 9-1-1 and 4-1-1 etc? This is needed for a senior citizen with some dementia in a nursing home

does it allow google location maps sharing in case i want to track this flip phone ? i plan to give this flip phone to my child ? Also can i delete default apps such as youtube or not allow any other apps to be downloaded ? Does it have parental control ?
